Party City, the leading party supply retailer in the United States, has announced the immediate closure of all its stores, concluding nearly 40 years in business.

This decision comes shortly after the company emerged from bankruptcy in September 2023, during which it eliminated nearly $1 billion in debt and kept most of its over 800 stores operational.

Despite these efforts, Party City continued to face significant financial challenges, including increased competition from major retailers like Amazon and Walmart, as well as a shift towards e-commerce.
